Mise-en-scene

The importance of Mise-en-scene:

Mise-en-scene is made up of 5 elements:
  • Settings and props
  • Costumes, hair and makeup
  • Facial expression and body language
  • Lighting and colour
  • Positioning of characters and objects within a frame
Mise-en-scene reinforces the idea that the films are constructed nothing happens by chance , it all has been carefully placed so that the audience can be drawn into the storyline of the scene.Image result for the importance of mise en scene
Overall mise-en-scene is very important when making a film as it helps tell the storyline, therefore when making our opening to a film, we will take our time to make sure everything fits together.
