Audience feedback

Audience Feedback:1 minute footage:

Today we asked a few people to watch our 1 minute footage so we could collect feedback, to then improve our film.

They all said that our film was good and that it had some good shots throughout.

They said our film had potential , however there were a few things that we could alter and add to improve it.

The majority said that we needed to re-film some clips due to the lighting , however me and my group had already decided to do this before. Some suggested that we should add more sound effects and music to our film so that it adds effect to the clips.
Overall the feedback we received was good.

By asking others to look at our work, it means we can get and insight of what people are thinking and also allows us to improve our film successfully.

Actors

Our Actors:

Here is a photo of our actor that is in our 2 minute film opening. We decided to use Katie as for her age (17 )we believed that see looks rather mature. Therefore dressed up, we thought that she could look like a strong women which we think worked well.

Katie is the only actor that you see with in our 2 minute film opening.

Rob Jones Workshop

Workshop:

Today Rob Jones came in for a workshop were he gave us feedback on our current work and gave us advise and also gave us tips on everything.

He told me that when it comes to editing to always work with more footage than you need too so that, you can then cut it down, rather than struggle with the footage you have. He also advised that when editing to not edit it as a whole as it can get rather complicated as you have so many clips to work from, however to pull clips out and edit them individual.

Along with giving us advise he also showed us his work and his websites to promote his work.
He also suggested youtube channels that have videos that can help with editing and how to do different techniques whilst filming.
