The 180 degree angle rule is a filming technique used in many films. The 180 degree angle rule consists of a imagery line called the axis, that goes through both characters. The axis connects the characters. The line represents that the camera should not pass over the line whilst filming, but however should maintain on the same side, as shown in the photo above. If the camera passes the line , this is called crossing the line, and the shot then becomes a reverse angle.
By learning this technique it will help me for our preliminary task and our final 2 minute opening scene.
